Angela, a self-made entrepreneur with a passion for design and creativity, hails from the Midwest's small-town life of North Dakota. Drawn to the vibrant opportunities and milder climate of Colorado, she made her mark with hard work and visionary spirit, becoming the heart and soul of Blush’s design team. With over 15 years of experience in sales and account management, Marcus joined Angela at Blush Kitchens in 2023, blending his expertise with her creative genius to make every project exceptional. Marcus, who also grew up in the small-town charm of Grand Junction, Colorado, brings a strategic and balanced approach to the company. Together, they create a one-of-a-kind customer experience, striving to be your advocate during every project and aiming to keep you as a client for life.
Marcus and Angela’s journey began in Fort Collins, CO, and they now reside in Castle Pines, CO, enjoying an active life with their two daughters, Anni and Maddi, and their Goldendoodle, Austin. Angela and Marcus relish the beauty of Colorado, including weekend getaways in the mountains, pickleball, golf, traveling to secret destinations, cooking and new recipes, and spending time with friends and family.

CEO & Founder
Angela, the esteemed owner of Blush Kitchens Co., boasts a rich tapestry of expertise spanning over 23 years as an acclaimed interior designer, home building authority, and real estate agent. Renowned for her impeccable taste and dedication to crafting award-winning, sophisticated, and timeless interiors, Angela's previous work with Spec Design Interiors has graced the pages of esteemed publications such as 5280 Home, Luxe Interiors Plus Design, Colorado Homes and Lifestyles, and Denver Life. Her designs have consistently garnered accolades within the design community, earning prestigious awards, including Denver's Top Design in 2018 and 2019.
Angela's meticulous attention to detail permeates every facet of her work, from conceptualization to execution, resulting in beautifully designed kitchens and interiors that surpass her clients' expectations. With a profound appreciation for architecture, materials, and a commitment to quality, Angela effortlessly tailors each project to reflect her clients' unique tastes and aesthetic preferences. Marcus Coleman
COO & Owner
Marcus brings over 15 years of experience in sales and account management from his previous business development roles. His corporate sales positions have refined his abilities in sales growth, client relationships, and strategic planning. Additionally, his background as a Senior Analyst and Project Manager in real estate further enhances his operational expertise. As the COO at Blush Kitchens, Marcus oversees all business operations, including budgeting and forecasting, scheduling, order placement, field inspections, hiring, marketing, and sales contracts.
Marcus is also responsible for the development and implementation of business strategies, plans, and procedures for the company.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Real Estate from Colorado State University.
Stephanie Smith
Interior Designer
As an Interior Designer, I bring a seamless blend of creativity, expertise, and passion to every project I undertake. My journey in the design world began at Heritage of Interior Design, where I honed my skills and cultivated a deep appreciation for crafting spaces that are not only visually captivating but also tailored to reflect the unique lifestyles of my clients. Now, as part of Blush Kitchens Co., I have the privilege of transforming my passion into reality. My focus is on creating environments that not only meet my clients’ needs but also bring joy and elevate their daily experiences. I take pride in turning ordinary spaces into extraordinary havens that resonate with each client’s personal vision and enhance their way of living. Outside of my professional work, I am a devoted new mother, finding inspiration in the beauty of pursuing dreams and embracing creativity. Motherhood has brought fresh perspectives to my design process and has strengthened my dedication to delivering excellence in every project. Carrie Ann Wright
Senior Designer
Carrie Ann Wright is a Colorado native with over 25 years of expertise in interior design and construction, specializing in kitchen and bath design. Her passion lies in crafting spaces that are both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional, with a keen eye for detail that ensures every project is executed to perfection. Carrie Ann excels in collaborating with clients, builders, and subcontractors, seamlessly bringing their visions to life. Her dedication to her craft is evident in her ability to balance the technical and creative aspects of design, making her a sought-after professional in the industry.
Outside of her professional life, Carrie Ann enjoys beach vacations, golfing, camping, and spending quality time with her husband and their four dogs. As a proud mother of two grown sons, she finds immense joy in helping others create homes they love. Carrie Ann’s commitment to her clients and her exceptional design skills make her an invaluable asset in the world of interior design.
Jamie Rickard
Senior Designer
With over 18 years of experience in the design industry, Jamie Rickard is thrilled to have returned to her hometown of Grand Junction, CO, to share her passion for interior design. After earning her Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from The Art Institute of Colorado in 2008, Jamie navigated a challenging job market by joining Richmond American Homes. There, she spent over 9 years advancing from entry-level positions to leading a team on national projects.
Her journey continued at CKY Design, where she worked on high-end residential projects and deepened her understanding of the business. This experience led Jamie to establish her own design practice, focusing on creating personalized environments that reflect each client's unique style while enhancing functionality.
Since relocating to Grand Junction in 2020, Jamie has expanded her interior design expertise to include cabinetry design, focusing on residential new builds and remodels. Her design philosophy is centered on creating spaces that are both visually stunning and highly functional. By seamlessly integrating custom cabinetry into her projects, Jamie delivers a fresh perspective and unwavering passion. She crafts homes that achieve a perfect balance of style and functionality through a comprehensive approach that considers every aspect of the space.
Shannon Adler
Senior Designer
Shannon Adler is a Colorado native and accomplished interior designer with more than a decade of experience in residential remodeling and construction. After earning her Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design locally, she advanced from early design support roles to leading project teams, developing a strong ability to balance creative vision with technical expertise.
Her work spans kitchens, bathrooms, and full interior environments, including the transformation of lower-level spaces into highly considered extensions of the home. Shannon approaches each project with an emphasis on thoughtful planning, refined detailing, and a deep understanding of how design shapes the way clients live every day.
Known for her attention to detail and collaborative approach, Shannon is committed to creating spaces her clients genuinely love. She guides projects from initial concept through interior architecture drawings and final installation, working closely with homeowners, builders, and trade partners to ensure a seamless and enjoyable process. Her ability to pair creativity with technical understanding results in spaces that feel intentional, enduring, and beautifully executed.
As part of Blush Kitchens Co., Shannon is expanding her expertise in custom cabinetry, allowing her to design interiors with an even greater level of precision and craftsmanship.
Outside of her professional work, she embraces the Colorado lifestyle, spending time hiking and backpacking in the mountains with her dog, Fritz, who often inspires her outdoor adventures.
Akaycia Dollar
Assistant Designer
Akaycia Dollar is an Interior Designer born and raised on Colorado’s Western Slope. She grew up in a household deeply familiar with custom cabinetry and the craft of building thoughtful interiors, an early influence that shaped her appreciation for quality, functionality, and design driven work.
Before entering the design industry, Akaycia owned and operated her own business for seven years, gaining experience in entrepreneurship, client relations, and project management. She holds a Business Entrepreneurship degree from Colorado Mesa University and a Design Certification from the New York Institute of Art and Design, blending creativity with strategic insight.
She is passionate about creating spaces that feel like home environments that inspire connection and meaningful gathering.
Nicole Amfahr
Assistant Designer
Nicole Amfahr is a Junior Designer at Blush Kitchens Co., where she supports the team in creating thoughtful, well curated interiors that balance beauty with everyday function. With a natural intuition for spatial flow, materials, and detail, she approaches each project with creativity and care, contributing to finish selections, space planning, and design development across a range of residential environments.
She is especially passionate about interiors that feel personal, layered, and genuinely livable, and she believes that great design should support the way clients truly experience their homes. Known for her collaborative nature and attentive approach, Nicole helps ensure that each project reflects the elevated standards and client centered philosophy of Blush Kitchens Co.
As she continues to grow within the firm, Nicole is quickly expanding her technical knowledge and design capabilities, developing the skills that will allow her to contribute to timeless interiors that feel intentional, welcoming, and enduring.
